Graphic Arts Services
Decal Solutions Solutions can assist our customers in development of designs with our in-house art staff.
Our staff is familiar with the particulars of each printing process and will help to ensure that your designs are optimized for your choice of imprinting method.
Services include:
•Redraw Service - We can make almost any source material printable, even for customers who are only able to provide low-resolution or sketched source material.
•File Conversion – Hundreds of graphic file formats exist, and we have the software and experience to use files you create using the program you are most comfortable using.
•Illustration – We have several skilled illustrators on staff who can turn your concept into reality.
•Typesetting - We can reset the text in your graphic so they print crisply or we can adjust the fonts to achieve the perfect result for you.
While we are capable of accepting a large number of formats and working with less than optimal artwork, if you are creating new art we ask that you supply using the following guidelines if possible:
Spot Color Printing:
Provide the art in vector format with Pantone spot colors specified. EPS, Adobe Illustrator, PDF and CorelDraw are all acceptable vector formats. Provide the decal dimensions in inches in each file to allow us to double-check that the size of the art in the file matches your requirements. If possible, provide a JPG or PDF mockup of the image placed on a photograph of the product to be imprinted.
Four Color Process Printing:
Provide art in TIF or PSD format at 300dpi or greater. High resolution JPG art can often be used, although it is best to avoid this format if possible. Provide the decal dimensions in inches in each file to allow us to double-check that the size of the art in the file matches your requirements. If possible, provide a JPG or PDF mockup of the image placed on a photograph of the product to be imprinted.
